scared shizzless.

the race is august 3rd.

i have so much work to do. not only do i have to rush through my running program via treadmill… i have to actually go run outside. 

-which-i’ve-never-done-in-my-life.

I feel all weak and wobbly today.

My 30min nap yesterday turned into a 4 hour one… Awake long enough to put in some laundry then more sleep.

In that time I forgot to eat dinner. Which doesn’t help energy levels.

I have another run tonight which counts the second week I’ve been back at purposely exercising. I’m noticing little changes which is nice.

Emotionally I’m still a wreck. I put too much pressure on myself to balance social stuff plus work.

Maybe I’ll feel better when the sun comes out.

Ho hum.

Mr. M sent me a Facebook message yesterday. The last contact we had was when he was inviting me out to his place on his birthday… at 2:30 in the morning.Over a year ago. 

He asked how things were going and asked for an update. I gave him one. He read the message 5 minutes after I sent it and hasn’t responded a day later.

I miss the happy illusion of people responding right away. That if they didn’t send you a message back it was because they hadn’t read it yet. 

Ho hum.

I’m not invested in the contact but he was a lovely addition to the shenanigans at the Gladstone residence. 

How times change.

One superficial example being that I bought three dresses on a trip down to the states yesterday with W. Three. Now, I guess I actually have to wear them….

bring on the nylons.

C is moving back to BC on the 8th of June.

So glad he’s going (better starts out there) but genuinely sad to see him go.

I’ve enjoyed his company.

I can fit into my size 12 jeans now :)

This past Fall I tried them on and couldn’t even get past my thighs. 

I feel pretty darn good.

14 weeks until back to school.

Last week was 40hrs
This week I’m adding landscape work on top of the 40.
Next week I start running x3 a week
The week after that I add studying Anatomy to my weekly adventures.

I don’t understand why I had it in my brain that I would have more time in the summer. I don’t. At all.

The difference maybe is that it’s physically exhausting vs the mental/physical of school?

Who knows.
Here we go though.
